This piece is a little different for me. Something I often struggle with is whether I need to EXPLAIN every piece, and sometimes - particularly for the ones that are less explainable - I have to fight this little voice that tries to make them understandable, palatable, that wants to give everyone a nice little story that’s easy to grasp ahold of. This is an everyday thought process that I struggle with - and I assume a lot of other artists struggle with too.
BUT THIS PIECE. Is so easy. It’s a big ol gum tree. One I made Josh pull over suddenly while we were driving home, so I could take a photo.
All pieces are carefully packed by Josh and Kate in our home studio, within 3 days of your order, using recycled materials where we can.
Ceramics or canvas paintings are boxed, with loose canvas or paper paintings shipped flat or rolled.
