Carved ceramic trivet

This ceramic trivet was wheelthrown in a smooth white clay, before being carved by hand in a spiraling pattern and glazed in a matte forest green glaze. This glaze features some of the beautiful random variances glaze can show when it is applied unevenly or positioned differently in the kiln. 

This piece measures about half a cm tall and about 25cm around. 

Although dishwasher safe, to keep these pieces at their very best we recommend hand washing. The ceramic is heat and oven safe, however all ceramic can experience thermal shock and should not be put into cooler water when hot.

Each piece is hand crafted, and we value the variations in shape, glaze and size that come from authentic hand craftsmanship.
