This one-off piece has been wheelthrown in a smooth white clay and carved by hand. It has been glazed in varied layers in a rutile blue, showing lowlights of caramel brown where applied sparingly on the ridges, pooling to a creamy teal blue in other areas. It features some of the beautiful random variances glaze can show when it is applied unevenly or positioned differently in the kiln.
This bud-vase measures about 4cm wide and about 4cm high, with a 2cm opening.
Although dishwasher safe, to keep these pieces at their very best I recommend hand washing.
Each piece is hand crafted, and I value the variations in shape, glaze and size that come from authentic hand craftsmanship.
All pieces are carefully packed by Josh and Kate in our home studio, within 3 days of your order, using recycled materials where we can.
